Shutter Speed
Shutter speed is a feature within the camera that allows more or less light into the camera sensor. Slow shutter speeds allow more light to be seen and are good for dark photographs. Fast shutter speed allows less light in making it good for bright sunny days.
aperture
aperture like shutter speed can be used to control the amount of light reaching a photograph. aperture regulates the image sensors exposure to light. a photo with a wide aperture will have a more shallow depth of field while a photo with a more narrow aperture will have a more full depth of field.
white balance
White balance is the process of removing unrealistic color casts, so that objects which appear white in person are rendered white in your photo. the purpose of white balance is to get image color as accurate as possible.
high contrast
contrast is the difference between the lightest and the darkest part of the image. to achieve high contrast there must be a bright source of light and shadowing
